COCO NEEDS A NEW HOME
COCO came into the rescue as an owner surrender. He was going to breed her, but when she got to the shelter, they would automatically spay her before returning her. He declined and just walked away from this beautiful girl. She is trained in basic skills, kennels well, seems house broken. She responds well to her name and totally enjoys belly rubs. She is about 70 pounds and is hw neg and utd on all shots and she is chipped. She is s dark sable (soon to be spayed) female GSD. She did extremely well with Farley and is now being housed in a foster with a 2 yr old long hair female. She is social and loves to be petted. She was starved for love and affection where she was. She could gain a few pounds but this dog is letter perfect.
UPDATE: We received a call this morning from Coco’s family. Due to unforeseen circumstances they can no longer keep her. Their comments about her included everything from calm to sweet and from tremendous to loving. She is great with other dogs and people. She is a sweet girl but does not like being in a crate. She is perfect around the house and is not at all destructive when left alone, but needs to just have a bed and a place to lay and she is perfect when you leave. She does require a yard that is fenced so she can play. She is energetic and likes to be out with her person. The return and re-homing has nothing at all to do with Coco who is the world’s calmest and sweetest love bug. She is the kind of dog suitable for anyone with a super calm lifestyle. She does love her walks but would sooner be outside with her person or family member. Her demeanor is always polite as she is totally trained and housebroken. Coco is the kind of dog that would be best for a family who wants a best friend to be with 24/7. If you think you are that family, please call us asap.
