CAESAR NEEDS A NEW FAMILY Our new boy is a black Schlab, but at least 80-20 towards the Shep side. His name is Caesar. He is a sweet dog who came out of a house with 2 kids who became allergic. His story is classic. Owner drives for Greyhound and saw a person abandoning him in a terminal. He took the dog home and has had him for 6 months. He is neutered, housebroken, crate trained and UTD on shots and hw neg. He is now in a crash course for basic obedience taught by Dale and he was also Farley approved for sociability. He is basically calm and took direction well, even though he was really never trained. He is knows his name but needs obedience and recall. He is not at all reactive and likes being petted. My assessment is that with a very small about of work, he will be a fabulous companion and family dog. He is 10 months old, 62 pounds. UPDATE Caesar was in group class today and some of that video is on the FB page and also on Dale Reitz page. There were 8 dogs in the group and he did fantastic. he took direction, learned to explore new things, did his sits and downs like a pro. He is an exceptional dog.
