LUDWIG THE TRIPOD NEEDS A NEW FAMILY Meet Ludwig, a calm, sweet neutered, 3yr old male tripod. He was someone's pet that was hit by a car and the person never came to collect him. Because he was injured, the shelter was forced to amputate his right rear leg. The leg has now healed and he is walking well. He is still in a cone and will be for the next few weeks. We plan on getting him a wheelchair which will go with him upon adoption. He gets along well on 3 legs, but that is not a good idea for the future. He is extremely calm and well mannered. He likes people and dogs and has been in play group at the shelter and met 5 of my dogs with no problem. He is HW Pos but I have decided to use the slow kill methods because putting this guy thru more trauma is unreasonable. He is available for adoption immediately. He is housebroken, utd on shots and chipped.
