DUTCHESS HAS A NEW FAMILY Dutchess was originally a street stray in the Ft Myers area when she was recovered by the rescue and placed in a home in Cape Coral with a person who was confined to a wheelchair and was being trained as his service dog. She is  extremely people friendly but has been reactive by protecting her owner (as she should) when dogs came into her yard. These incidents happened on the owners property by random dogs who were unleashed and on his property. We have done extensive work with Dutchess and she is a great dog. These incidents can be controlled by a containment fence but on a leash she is a perfect lady. She can meet and greet people or dogs without any issue or reaction. She is a smaller 70 pound, dark sable female who has all shots and is spayed and chipped. She knows quite a few commands and is obedient.  We know she can pass any therapy dog testing and would make a great companion for most any family.
