ACE NEEDS A NEW HME AND FAMILY ACE came into the rescue today 9/12 as a surrender by his owner. The dogs owner left Ace with him and never returned, so he is being relinquished because the current caretaker/owner just doesn't have the time to care for him. Ace is a big handsome boy weighing in at about 85 pounds. He is a bit aloof at first but warms up well. He is affectionate and engaged and likes to play ball and to be petted and sit by you. He bonds quickly. He was originally owned by a woman and then left with a male for the past few months. He has been with other dogs, larger, and 2 kids 6 and 10 years old. He is healthy, will be neutered in a week or so and UTD n shots and hw neg. He has had some training but can use a refresher course. He is calm and did well with Farley, although since he is in-tact, we didn't have them, play. He is black and tan and in excellent shape.
