ARTHUR came into the rescue today 7/17, as a stray from the Cape Coral area. He was 100% shut down and had to be literally carried into a room where I could meet him. It took two of the techs to bring him but once he was in the room, out of the mainstream of barking and noise, he started to come around with me... and my dried liver. He is about 2-3 years old and in what seems to be good shape. He is a silver and black male weighing about 75 pounds. Aside from his being scared he is fine. He is HW Pos and that will be addressed. he is about 80 pounds and his fur and body are in great shape. I did have an adopter set to take him but they fell through. Arthur is Heartworm positive and of course we will treat him in the Ft Myers Clinic. He was already chipped and neutered so he can go to a home immediately. He was placed in a foster home just after his neuter. There he met 2 young girls, a female GSD and two super people. He was fabulous. He is now out of his shell and engaged and affectionate and loving.
