GORDON HAS A HOME GORDON is a 4 year old handsome black and tan male GSD. He is neutered, hw neg, utd non shots and chipped. He was found as a stray by one of my prior adopters who brought him into AC and they could not find an owner. He was transferred to us in MAY 2023 today 5.26 and he was neutered. He was in rescue only a brief time when he was adopted by a young family. A lot has happened to him since then. He was found 4/6/2025 wondering the streets of Parish FL by an AC officer. He was placed in the truck and brought back to the Manatee shelter for scanning. His chip was registered to the family who adopted him and to the rescue. It turns out the families phone was changed and he then called me. After researching the family I discovered that they reported (to me) that he ran away a year ago. I have no idea where he was for a year but he must have been with a family, so seemingly also 'lost' him. He is super dog. People friendly, kid friendly and really gentle, calm, sweet and an overall happy dog. He is a large boy at 123 pounds. He is healthy soon to be utd on shots and neutered. When I first had him, I was out with him at a dog park and I saw him in action. He loves people and especially kids. He is a BIG boy but as sweet as can be. He went to the park with Farley and myself and got petted by every kid and parent there. THIS BOY SHOULD GO TO A FAMILY WITH KIDS!!! He is being housed with another female Shep/Golden mix and he is doing well. He was originally fostered with 5 dogs, big and small and some cats and did fine. He is available immediately.
