SENIOR BEAR HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY BEAR came into the rescue after being fostered for some time to get well. He is a senior dog at 11 years young and still engaged and in good mental and physical health. Like any 11 year old dog he has a bit of arthritis and is being treated for heart worm (that will be completed by 2/11/23 and he will be on his road to a full recovery. Bear was relinquished as a result of Hurricane Ian where his owners home on Ft Myers beach was destroyed and he was brought to us since, at his age, the shelters would not consider him for adoption. He is extremely friendly with people and dogs and cats and would make a fabulous dog for a senior who wants a companion and a new best friend. He is neutered and has al shots. He is about 90 pounds and able to get around quite well. If Bear could work for you please call me as he is ready to go immediately.
