NAYLA HAS A NEW FAMILY NAYLA came into the rescue today from a shelter in Manatee County. She had been originally dropped off in another norther County but because of space was transferred there. Lucky enough when she arrived she met our transporter and evaluator who fell in love with her and called me. All of this happened in 3 days time, so she has been through a lot of homes, shelters and transfers. She is finally in one of our foster homes, safe and secure and able to decompress. She is a sweet calm girl about 3 years old. She was, as far as we know, relinquished originally from a home where the owner loved her but could no longer care for her, and, for whatever reasons, turned to the shelter route rather than rescue. Some people just don't get it? She is about 62 pounds, sweet calm, spayed and UTD on shots. She is being housed with two big girls, one Leonberger and one female shep, and she is doling excellent. She is house broken and somewhat trained. She is very comfortable in the home and with other dogs and people and would make a great companion for any family. She is classic black and tan with somewhat longer plush fur. She is ready to be adopted immediately.
