ALBI HAS A NEW FAMILY ALBI is a Mal-Shep mix, known in my house as a Shmalinois. He actually may have a few more breeds in him, but a mix or mutt is still a mix. We go by personality and his is great. He is about a year old and very good with dogs, cats and people. i have met him and tyested him when he arrived at my foster on Sunday afternoon and I was impressed with his calm demeanor. He is housebroken, walks well on a lead, has had some basic training but needs more.. He is neutered, shots UTD, chipped and HW Neg. He is a lightweight now and probably goes 60 pounds. He will however become a 'bag of cement' and weigh about 65+ pounds, like my dog who is his double, and gets some good nutrition and exercise. These mixes are frequently super sweet and calm and don't exhibit the 'always on' traits of pure Malinois's. I think he would make a great family dog and that he would be suitable for any family willing to step up and train him. You will need the time to train and bring him along since he was a stray and needs lots of time and attention to be all he can be.
