PUPPY JADE HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY PUPPY JADE came into the rescue on 12/7 from a death in the family, leaving poor Jade homeless. She was immediately adopted by a family who lab proved to be incompatible with her energy. He is an older dog and she just wants to play to the point he won't accept her. The person who had her originally loved and cared for her and she was quite bonded to her. She still exhibits a bit of separation anxiety toward his loss but in the past weeks weeks that has abated completely. She was in a foster home with a small dog and she plays way too rough with him as well. I SUGGEST SHE GO TO HOMES WITH SHEPS OR ACTRIVE DOGS ONLY. We had him here with Dunkin, my 2 year old looney tune and she and he had a blast. She would be best suited for a home with larger dogs as she is all shep and plays like that. She is spayed, UTD on shots and chipped, hw neg and somewhat trained. She sits, downs and shakes but has recall only if she knows you. Once she got use to me, after 30 minutes she came readily. She is a sweet dog in need of a family who will take the time (and HAS THE TIME) to care for her and give her the puppy training and social skills she needs. She, like most sheps is a bit standoffish at first but once she gets into a home where she is secure that too will disappear. She weighs 72 pounds and because she is only 8 months old will require a $500.00 puppy training bond, returnable after completion of a CGC (Canine Good Citizen).
