ROCCO HAS A NEW FAMILY
UPDATE ARTHUR was dumped on the street and found with a rope around his neck tied to a stop sign back in October 2022. He was take in by a mom and daughter team who cared for him and brought him into their home. He thrived in with them for 4 days bonding each day until today when he was turned over to us to find a forever home.
Arthur was adopted out to a family in the Sarasota area in Nov 22. Recently the family's situation has changed and Arthur unfortunately doesn't fit. They have an elderly person in the home and he is just way too much dog for her. They have decided to relinquish him back to us.
During the time they had Arthur they RENAMED HIM ROCCO, which is her current name. Arthur aka Rocco is about 4ish, no more than that. He is a neutered 80 pound black and tan male, utd on shots and hw neg. He is housebroken and has a considerable amount of basic obedience. He is not suitable for homes with small kids and he isn't a fan of small yappy dogs.
He was well cared for and well treated until he was initially dumped which is unusual but we are thankful for that. He is not at all a problem, rather he is people and large dog friendly. He has had a considerable amount of training but needs a refresher! He is housebroken and affectionate with a calm disposition. He is a handsome boy with great fur and in excellent health. He is available immediately. Although he is somewhat trained, we do suggest basic obedience with the new owner.
