note updated information on Zeus below ZEUS was originally turned into us and went to a home with kids and dogs. He was tested with the other dogs and found to be compatible but what we have discovered is that he is NOT good with dogs in the home and should be an ONLY DOG.. He is super dog and people and kid social outside the home. He is also tolerant of cats and would be fine in any home with cats who are passive but not dogs. He had lived with a family who lost a parent and he was returned. There had been a few issues with the other 3 dogs in the family and the family is concerned that their pack isn't tolerating a more alpha dog. Upon observation now for a few weeks, he is a calm, well adjusted, super friendly dog who is not a problem in any way with people or kids but he is NOT good with other dogs in the home. During this time the dad suddenly and unexpectedly passed away which further complicated a stressful situation which drastically contributed to Zeus being given up. He loved his family and the kids especially. He is social and very people oriented as well as dog friendly outside the home in situations such as dog parks or street walking, but we do recommend a one dog home. We now feel that he does have alpha tendencies. He is housebroken, obedience trained, engaged, fun loving and playful. He is healthy, neutered HW Neg and his shots are UTD. He would be a great companion for anyone (especially with kids) and he is available immediately. He has been in a foster home now for a few days and they have fallen in love with him as have all of their neighbors. He is an affectionate well adjusted dog that is great on a lead and with other dogs on his walks and especially people and kids. He is a handsome well adjusted dog eager to find a new home and family. update He did go to his adopter family but they returned him immediately due to an unexpected illness in the family rendering them unable to care for him.
