CARLTON HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY CARLTON was transferred to us from a high kill shelter in the hopes we could get him under control and save his life. I accepted him in because our foster had the unique skill to get him settled enough to be adopted out. At first he was so scared and so out of control he spent the night outside in the rain, not under a cover just to be away from his foster. With her special skill and the help of the rescue that brought him, he was corralled and lead into the house. He has since become far more able to meet people, especially women, and be stable, obedient and in control. He was adopted out on a trial basis but was returned because the prospective adopter was not able to spend the time needed to rehabilitate this pup. Carlton aka Carl is about 2 years old or less. he is now house broken, UTD on shots HW Neg and parasite free. He has come to trust his foster and can transfer that trust to others only after an appropriate period of time and a concerted effort on the part of the prospective adopter to gain his trust and spend the time needed with him to establish a relationship. Carl is about 65 pounds and predominately white with a touch of tan. He does love to be touched and responds to a calm household. he is fostered with two sheps and he takes direction from the alpha there very well and he is respectful of both his foster parents and the pack. It will take a special qualified family or person to adopt him. We seek a family of predominately adults who have the time, some of the skills (the rest yo can learn) to love him because he can become a truly great companion and pet.
