POPPI HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY THEY WERE FOUND BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THEREFORE REMOVED FROM OUR DOG LIST POPPI is an 80% GSD and 20% 'whatever" but when they are as nice as he is I accepted him into rescue regardless of his 'less than shep' background. Poppi is about 90 pounds and a larger dog. He sable in color, more to the brown and black and he is gentle, affectionate and loving. He is housebroken, like to sleep on the couch.... but untrained in basic obedience skills. I put a prong on him and he was an immediate convert. He walked well with the prong (no pulling) and he was a perfect gentleman. His problem was that he was just never trained but he is really responsive to direction. He is about 3 years old. His shots are UTD and he is HW Neg, chipped and well groomed. His owner was forced to relinquish him and the family wants the best for him. In meeting him and testing him with myself and another shep, he showed us that he was a well tempered calm boy willing to meet people and other dogs well and readily. He is available immediately.
