CODY IS STAYING HOME CODY came into our rescue 2/13 as a rehoming situation due to illness. The owner cannot walk him based on some surgery and tearfully needs to find him another family to love him. He is a prior rescue dog that came to the current owner from another rescue who did little to help the dog when she adopted him. Previously he has had ear and skin infections and the rescue did nothing to offer help in clearing these conditions up. He was also HW POS and again they failed the dog radically. The owner however treated all of his conditions and he is in great shape now regarding skin and ears but he is still a slight POS in the heartworm department and he will have to be treated. He is up to date on all shots and he is chipped. Cody is a super handsome 4 year old black and tan GSD who is slightly overweight at about 85 pounds. He is a responsive and affectionate with bright fur and a defined saddle. He is 4 years old and extremely sweet. He is DOG FRIENDLY (but of course proper introductions are always needed) and currently lives with two super small dogs. He is untrained as far as basic obedience is concerned. He is house broken and loves to be touched and to hold hands. He has always lived inside and is a cuddlier. He does love his mom and has been with females predominately but he and I had a great first time meeting since he loves anyone who will pet him. He is available for immediate adoption. He lives in Port Charlotte and can be seen with notice most any time.
