SWEET AND CALM HOPE HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO EARS IN ENGLEWOOD FL Hope (short haired ) and king Russell ( long haired) came into rescue in early April when their owner became homeless. They were loved by their owner and well cared for.
They were a bonded pair but we did split them up.

Hope (short haired) is a 5 yr old female GSD mix. She is spayed UTD on shots, heartworm negative, about 50 lbs. We need to get her microchipped after adoption. She is sweet and loves being Petted. She is super calm, responsive, house broken and loves people, dogs and cats but she is not suitable to be housed with farm animals. She has done therapy dog work and is great with people, kids, cats, small and large dogs. She is a perfect dog for an older family or someone wishing to do home visits. YES SHE IS A MIX, but as I have stated many times, there are just some dogs that win your heart over and she is one.
She is laid back, chill and calm but she does exhibit a prey drive with farm animals. She is trained and obedient. She is sweet and playful. Currently in foster in N Ft Myers.
Her foster wrote:

She’s thinned down a little and becoming quite a little sweetie.

I think she likes being an only dog since she gets all the attention.

We walk every night and she’s good on the leash. She doesn’t try to run off when off the leash either.

I’ve taken her to dog park two or three times but she mostly gets scared at first then kind of stands around.
