HUNTER (1) HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY HUNTER (1) came to us this morning from a great loving family who has fallen on some trying times and could no longer care for him. Hunter (1) is a large 95 pound male GSD. He is in perfect health, HW Neg, active and loving. he is kid friendly and will chase cats. We did introduce him to our cat who was not running and he was fine, but the owner did say he would chase cats outside. He is dog friendly and kid friendly and warmed up to me and a foster in just minutes. he is crate trained and has some basic obedience. he is reported to be a counter surfer and a runner but quickly responds and comes home. He does need training and like any GSD he needs an alpha. His owners did not have any time for him but truly loved him and wanted him to be re-homed by us. He is a big boy yet extremely passive. He walks well on a leash and has a calm temperament. He did not play ball with me but they rarely know what to do when they are left. He has a defined saddle and a great gate when he trots across the yard. He is the kind of family pet everyone wants and he will go fast. We do have a family coming to see him today.
