STORM HAS A NEW FAMILY Amidst the chaos of the impending Hurricane Irma, some bastard dumped his 7 year old super sweet male GSD. We were called this morning while planning our escape and securing our home that this guy was in a shelter that has a tendency to flood and had to be evacuated. Having no choice but to help this boy in need we got one of our stellar volunteers to take him to her home until the storm passes. We named him STORM for obvious reasons.
Storm is an unneutered male black and tan GSD. he is a big boy probably 90 pounds. He is about 7-8 years old and has some minor hip issues, not at all debilitating but noticeable when he trots around for a while. He is unbelievably friendly and affectionate. He loves other dogs and people and would be great for any family with or without kids. He gives paw with either hand and is a talker and leaner. He is housebroken and waited until we left the kennel to do a 5 minute pee. He is semi long hair and handsome. He has a double ear infection that we are treating but has no worms, no fleas, heartworm NEG and obedient. He knows all of his commands and once he learns his name he will be quite attentive. He seeks out people and is currently with 3 dogs in the foster in N Ft Myers. He will have his ears checked again when he is neutered after the storm passes at which time he will also be chipped. He has all shots. He can be seen once things settle down.
