NIKKI FORMERLY FAITH, HAS A NEW FAMILY FOSTER FAILURE
NIKKI is a sweet 4 year old pure white female GSD. She weighs in at about 80 pounds and she is otherwise healthy. She does have a pancreatic insufficiency which requires her to have a pre-digestive enzyme put on her food at every meal. This can cost about $75 a month based on the product you choose to use. It is not a RX script.
She originally came into the rescue in 2017 and was named FAITH. She was adopted out to a family who I thought would care for her for life, I was wrong. I rarely make these types of mistakes but I surely did here. The family brought her to a shelter and turned her in, but the shelter intercepted her and then the family gave her back to me as was their obligation by agreement and by written contract. They did care for her and gave her everything but training. She does pull on a lead but with a proper collar she is fine. She is definitely dog friendly but chases rabbits and pesky squirrels.
This sweet dog was due to be euthanized today 8-10-17 but we picked her up from DeSoto County and brought her here.
She is housebroken and currently healthy, HW Neg but does require an enzyme with meals. She is great with people and other dogs. Cats are an unknown as yet. She was spayed and heart worm tested (NEG) and has all of her shots. She has had some training but her temperament is what attracted her to us. She is here in foster this afternoon 9/24/2019.
