JANE HAS A NEW FAMILY JANE was found up in the Tampa area walking along side a road with a male, who we have named tARZAN. This dynamic duo was able to survive pretty well until Jane was hit by a car.SHE IS QUITE OK AND HAS NO RESIDUAL EFFECTS OF THE MISHAP. Jane is on a few drugs to help her heal. She was tested today by me with other dogs and although she didn't do well, i believe in her ability to change quickly. I do believe Jane was in a defensive mode with other dogs because she had to survive on the road after being dumped. Jane loves people and is super sweet and attentive with people... everyone. Jane is what appears to be Tarzan's mother, but we are not sure of that. They are radically bonded and will have to be separated through adoption. We do not recommend (but we will permit) them to be adopted together as their bond would drastically overshadow their ability to bond individually to a new family. Their pack is formed. Jane is a normal sized female at about 75 pounds. She is more black and tan in a classic style than Tarzan. She is HW Neg and is spayed and has a chip and all shots. She is not trained and needs to go into basic obedience immediately. Tarzan and Jane will NOT BE at the adoption event in Port Charlotte. Tarzan in in Naples at a foster and Jane is on Ft Myers beach in a foster. We do believe that he is house broken but that too is not a known fact at this time.
