TARZAN WILL BE STAYING WITH THE WOMAN THAT FOUND HIM PERMANENTLY Tarzan was found up in the Tampa area walking along side a road with a female, who we have named Jane. This dynamic duo was able to survive pretty well until Jane was hit by a car. Her story is on her adoption sheet. Tarzan is what appears to be Jane's offspring, but we are not sure of that. They are radically bonded and will have to be separated through adoption. WE HAVE SEPARATED THEM AND HE IS POSSIBLY GOING TO STAY WITH THE WOMAN WHO FOUND THEM WHILE SHE IS IN A FOSTER ON FT MYERS BEACH. We do not recommend (but we will permit) them to be adopted together as their bond would drastically overshadow their ability to bond individually to a new family. Their pack is formed. Tarzan was tested by me today and did not fail, but did not pass his temperament test with my neutral dog. When out of the presence of his mom he did far better but will need some work. As stated he may be staying with the woman who found him but that is NOT cast in stone as yet, so we welcome inquiries. Tarzan is a big boy. He weighs in at about 87 pounds. Tarzan is more black and silver/tran. He is HW Neg and is neutered and has a chip and all shots. He is not trained and needs to go into basic obedience immediately. He is not readily social with other dogs and would NOT be suited for a household with other small or aggressive dogs. Tarzan will NOT be at the adoption event this weekend 2/17 - 2/19 at Petsmart in Port Charlotte as they are both in foster care. We do believe that he is house broken but that too is not a known fact at this time.
