GABBY HAS A NEW HOME
Gabby is in a foster who may keep her so fo now she is off the table in so far as open adoption is concerned. First off let me say that Gabby has been conditionally promised to a vetted adopter and probably will be placed with her upon arrival. Gabby has not yet come into our rescue as she is on a 5 day hold at the shelter. Gabby was dumped into the woods and had remained there until a neighbor told animal control about her. He has been without food or shelter, water or companionship for a week and was recovered today when she emerged from hiding. She was with a family if you could call them that and when she got out of the animal control truck, she immediately went to me and to the vet tech with a happy face and affection. She has been through a lot as you can see by her ribs but she is sweet and super friendly. Gabby is a 3-4 year old female sable (brownish) GSD. She will be spayed and have her shots and HW test upon arrival next week but for now she is safe albeit uncomfortable awaiting transport to the rescue.
