MARTIN HAS A NEW HOME
UPDATE WE HAVE A FAMILY COMING TO SEE HIM TOMORROW SATURDAY MARTIN is a fabulous dog. He is super friendly and I fell in love with him immediately upon meeting him. He is engaged playful and responsive yet untrained. He seems housebroken but i will know more in the days ahead. At the kennel he never peed or pooed in his run. This dog was dropped off in front of the shelter, not brought in mind you, but dumped in the street and then the family sped away in their pickup. He ran after them out almost to MLKJ Blvd., and had he got there he would surely be dead. One of the shelter personnel called him back and he responded. He was then taken to LCDAS where he remained for 2 weeks and then was neutered. He is HW Pos and that will be treated by LCDAS after he heals from his surgery. As everyone will who meets this great dog will know, He is going to make his new family very happy. He was a family dog... but the family were obviously not worthy of having a pet. Martin was named at the shelter and was given all shots and a chip. He weighs about 60 pounds and he is in good physical condition with what appears to be sound hips and structure. He is also crate trained and very calm. He is unbelievably dog friendly and people friendly but as yet untested with cats. If you are looking for a great family pet Martin is your main man.
