SWEET SUNNY AKA SUNSHINE HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY SUNNY is a 7 year old female GSD. She is on the smaller side, at about 60 pounds and classic black and tan. She is a sensational dog, super affectionate and sweet. She does chase cats so if you have a cat maybe she is not the right dog. She has never hurt one but does find running after them to be a sport. She has a sweet face but what wins you over immediately is her personality. She is super calm and sweet. Loves kids, people and dogs, She would make a great therapy dog. . She was dumped in a dog lock box with a 10 week old kitten and a rambunctious puppy not her own out in Clewiston. She kept the kitten warm and played with the puppy while awaiting discovery and when we met he she was still playing with the puppy who was all over her being obnoxious.
Sunny was adopted immediately by a great lady with a few cats. At first we were confident of her love for cats as she came in with one, but we soon found she like to chase them. She is the furthest thing from aggressive and the chasing ends with simple intimidation and not aggression. She did meet one of my cats today and just looked at him with no reaction so it may be that the cats she lives with are just not her best friends. We have learned from her foster that she bonds extremely fast and has some separation anxiety when she is left. We are not certain if this is condition or just a result of being uprooted again and again.
Her temperament is excellent and she is just as sweet and loving as a dog can be. She was in heat when we got her and has been spayed and givei all shots. She is available immediately. My suggestion is that she go to a no cat household, other dogs are just fine. She is really laid back but loves to plat ball and has great energy. If you are looking for a super calm dog, this is the one you need to see. She is HW Neg and has all shots and she is chipped.
Sunshine was with us today 5/7 at an event for 3+ hours. She met lots of people and 15 dogs and was a perfect lady. This is one great loving socal dog.
