ROCKIE RACOON HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY
I changed her name to Rockie Raccoon because she has raccoon eyes, from Kristie as that seemed a better choice! Rockie came to us from Sarasota county shelter this morning 12/2/16.. She was a street dump. She is a 10 month old female GSD. She is un-spayed (but we will take care of that as well as all shots and a chip next week). She is 20 pounds underweight but that will be resolved with good food rather quickly. She is HW Neg thankfully and very good with people and most dogs. She was found with a doxy and seems non reactive with other dogs when introduced. She is in a foster home now and will be adopted out as soon as practical before we leave for vacation. After having her bath she gave the foster lots of kisses and walked into a create and fell asleep. We have noticed she favors one rear leg and we feel that she may have an injury on that leg from being out in the street. no one medically has seen her as yet but that will happen when she is adopted and gets her meds, spay and chip next week.
