MAXIUS HAS A NEW FAMILY

MAXIMUS HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY MAXIMUS AKA MAX, came to us through the AWL. He was turned in by his owner who did not care for him much at all. He is underweight and yet very social and responsive to leadership and kindness. Max's ears do flop but he is a handsome black and tan neutered male GSD puppy. He is about 9 months to 1 year old. I found out that he likes other dogs and cats from the detail sheet provided by his former owners. He is untrained and does still have puppy manners. He does jump and needs quite a bit of socialized training. He is calm and affectionate. I spent some time with him today and I was impressed with his ability to cope with all that has happened to him over these last few days. He is reported to be house broken and we know he is HW Neg. He is chipped and has all shots and will be ready for adoption by Thursday 11/24/16. He is a smaller male and weighs about 45 pounds now. He will be about 70 pounds when he is done growing. If you want a puppy and are ready for a super affectionate but untrained dog Max is you man. I think 6 weeks of basic will yield a PERFECT dog and with his stellar temperament he can be great in any family. He does also like cats.
