XENIA HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY Her current owner is going in for training and may keep her after all. XENIA was found as a stray on the streets of Melbourne FL a few weeks ago. She was taken in by the shelter there and spayed. She was also given all shots and chipped. She was found to be healthy and HW Neg and was placed in adoption. She was not readily adopted there and we were asked to place her.
Xenia is an affectionate female black GSD WITH WHITE AND TAN TOES, very stylish. She is about 4 years old, housebroken to the best of our knowledge and great with people. She did not like being caged there and was reactive in the kennel but when taken out she was a completely different dog. She likes being petted and walks well on a lead. She is a moderate when it comes to her energy level but she will surely perk up when she feels she is in a permanent home. Xenia will be here over the weekend of 11/19-11/20 so if she seems to be a dog that would make your family complete please call us asap to arrange a meeting when she arrives so she does not have to go to another foster.
XENIA did go to a home and unfortunately they were unable to follow through with training. She did prove somewhat reactive to other dogs and they were unable to get her under control and decided to rehome her. She is a great dog inside and outside with people and yet outside Xenia is a bit reactive and needs training.
