GORGEOUS GEORGE NEEDS A NEW FAMILY

update: GEORGE WAS ADOPTED AND IS BEING RETURNED TO US BECAUSE HE IS FAR TOO AGGRESSIVE IN HER CATS. MORE INFO BELOW:

FURTHER UPDATE GEORGE IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE AS THE OWNER ISN'T ABLE TO GIVE HIM UP AND IS TRUING TO WORK WITH HIM TO ACCEPT HER CATS. WE ARE HAPPY ABOUT THAT AND WE WILL WAIT FOR A DECISION FROM HER GEORGE came to us 7/14 from a family that was relocating and cannot have him in their new home. They originally got him as a rescue for 4.5 years ago and he is mow about 5 years old. He is a super affectionate, white GSD. He is a family dog, well trained, house broken, well cared for and loved, and neutered. He is chipped and all shots and he is HW neg. He weighs about 95 pounds and is a healthy and engaged dog. He is coming from a family with kids and is extremely social and playful with everyone, except cats. He likes it outside but he is an inside dog. We now have crate trained him as that is our standard procedure for a new dog in our home. . We do not know if he likes to swim in a pool but loves the surf. He is great with small kids and easy going when meeting new dogs. He is quite submissive with new dogs he meets and does lick them in the face as a means to reassure them he means no harm. He is, like most GSD's territorial at home but is able to be trained to accept most anything. He is yet tested with cats and FOUND TO BE AGGRESSIVE SO HE MUST GO TO A NO CAT HOUSEHOLD. He was here at the house initially in July and I was so impressed with this great dog as he is just a really good boy. He is now in a foster with the family that adopted him, but that can;'t last long as they have cats and he is being separated from them. He will stay there a week or so until we can find him a permanent home or foster. He loves everyone and takes to everyone immediately. He is happy, social and family oriented. If you think George could have a new home with your family just let us know.
