OLD ZEKE WILL BE STAYIG HOME I first saw Zeke today. He is a 12 year 'young' long haired black and tan male GSD. He is neutered and has all shots and is heart worm negative. he was loved and well cared for until the family fell on some hard times. They love him and want him only to be cared for in his senior years. he is active, great hips, healthy and engaged. He is not suitable for a family with real young kids because, although he loves children, he will pull to get to a smaller pat which means walking him for a small person is out. He weighs about 90 pounds and he is solid muscle. These notes were taken about him during our meeting with the owner:
Beautiful, really nice 12 yr old active gsd
Obedience trained
Pulls on leash needs work w/walks
Ok with large passive dogs
No cats, little dogs, small pets or kids under 12
Very sweet 12 yr old dog
Goes right up to people
Likes to be patted
Very much a food hound- will counter surf
Sometimes uses muzzle to prevent him opening fridge to get food
Very nice somewhat active laid back senior not requiring a lot of exercise
He is a sweet dog. he gravitates to people and enjoys being petted. He is a bit confused as to what's happening to him now but will settle in quickly. He is well suited for an older couple or individual who isn't particularly active and doesn't have grandogs nor has lots of 'littles' in their immediate neighborhood. He seems to bark at smaller dogs and that would or could upset people. Otherwise he is a great gentle giant who is a senior dog needing a senior lifestyle.

If you have an open heart and the band width to take in a good old boy then he is an excellent choice.
