MICKEY HAS A HOME MICKEY CAME IN TODAY FROM COLLIER. He was a give up from a local family. We finally got the story correct He is a 6-8 year old healthy, neutered, black and tan male GSD. He has a video on line which is https://www.facebook.com/shelterdogs4...312950830/

He is house broken, HW Neg and healthy. He needs to be back in a home quickly as he does not like the shelter. We have placed him in a foster home locally here in Punta Gorda so he can be seen quickly. He will be at the AWL event on 4/30 from 11 am-1pm Mickey weighs about 85 pounds and is people and dog friendly. He is a super social dog that came from a loving family and needs to go to another family as quickly as possible. His owners family turned him in to the shelter because their mother, whose dog he was, is in hospice. She write a beautiful heart felt letter about him to any prospective owner. I have scanned it here.

Mickey is a joy to have around he is loving and engaged and just wants to belong. He is dog friendly and people friendly and knows his commands and is an easy going boy at every level.
