HANDSOME RANGER NUMBER 2 IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
her owner wanted to keep her so she never came to us to adopt out. RANGER is a 2.5 year old male sable GSD. He is house broken, crate trained and super calm. He is submissive with other dogs and makes a fabulous house companion. He seems to like women a bit more than men because initially he come from an abusive home and possible was fearful of the male. He needs quite a bit of vigorous exercise and would be best suited for a family able to give him that 2-3 miles of walking a day. He is HW neg and weighs about 85 pounds. Ranger came from in from the Tampa pound and he was taken in by a kind family who also fosters cats and kittens. They also have another GSD. He immediately became friends with the other dog and is in general a very dog friendly boy. He loves people and tolerates kids from what we are told, but he does NOT LIKE CATS and would not be suitable for a family owning cats. He was aggressive toward their cats after a day or so and the cats could sense that which has made the household unstable. He is a good dog but they have decided that he needs to be re-honed asap. Ranger has some basic obedience and is extremely loving and trainable. He is a great dog for any active family. Ranger is currently in Tampa and anyone wishing to see him must give is 24 hours notice so he can be brought here from his foster family. Anyone wishing to foster him locally, without cats, can also call us for an appointment.
