HANDSOME DIESEL HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY Diesel came to us today Thurs 2/25 from Central Florida. He was purchased from someone and given as a gift to a person who was not able to own him due to HOA restrictions. He was then turned in and came to us.
Diesel is about 65 pounds. He is 100% black except for the 3 paint spots he got when his butt hit a newly painted wall. Those 3 dots will vanish soon enough! Diesel was neutered today and is HW Negative and has all shots and a chip. He is house broken, calm and seemingly good with dogs and has no real interest in cats. He was taken to my house and will spend tomorrow recovering from his surgery. We do have a family coming to see him Sunday. He is a soft gentle dog, not much into cheese but likes people and touch. He really doesn't know his name. I think that the name given to us was not really his for life as he doesn't seem to respond to it. He does bond quickly and he is really a sweet and gentle dog. His fur is quite course and he dries in an instant. He has a great disposition and wants to be around you. We were told he loves kids but we have not seen him with a child as yet. He did meet our Golden and they did fine. He met my 7 GSD's and was OK after a few woofs. He definitely is crate trained and housebroken and he is a good eater. he doesn't seem to like his butt examined (we learned that from the Dr who neutered him) but I have not seen anything but sweetness from him since he arrived yesterday. He will remain fostered here until he either gets adopted by Sunday or he will go to a foster until he is adopted.
