HANDSOME RIGBY NEEDS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY
update Rigby has been promised to a family Rigby is a large 105 pound male black and tan GSD. He is approximately 4 years old and in fantastic shape. he is strong as an ox and needs a seasoned handler. He loves people, is great with most dogs large and small. he is untested with cats. he is neutered heart worm negative and has all shots and a chip.
Rigby came from the streets but we have no idea of his history. he is housebroken and somewhat trained and does obey commands so long as he respects you. He will do what you say even without true respect but without the speed and quickness associated with taking the command from a given leader. He is a large dog who has a fantastic head and structure. He is basically calm and yet in all social settings he quickly adapts to whatever the need is. If you are active and engaged he will immediately join in. If you are watching TV he can be a couch potato if that's what is called for at the time. He thinks about every movement and is adaptable and aware of his surroundings. He will be an excellent protector and he is great with kids as we saw today when he was introduced to 20 or more of them. This is a fine dog in all respects and needs to go to an experienced home and handler. He needs training and to make sure he responds to you as an alpha. He is not an overbearing dog but can take over if you are not the leader.
