WE NO LONGER HAVE PUPPIES

WE HAVE 2 FEMALE PUPPIES LEFT An unusual thing happened where we have been asked by a foster parent to help offer for sale 3 fabulous puppies. They are currently 6 weeks old and will be ready to go home in 2+/- weeks. These puppies came from what could be described as a back yard breeder, yet we do know the people and we know the sire and dam. These dogs have everything any family would want in a puppy, looks, health and most importantly temperament. They are family dogs. These dogs will not come from our rescue but rather from a good friend of ours who will sell them to the people who meet our strict criteria. That criteria is that the person put up 2 bonds ($500 each) one for the neuter or spay and the second for schooling also $500. The dogs will be neutered at the new owners expense and will also have their regular shots at the new owners expense. The rescue will only be involved to do the vetting of the prospective adopters. The second expectation is that the new owners pay for a STAR puppy school class held in Punta Gorda starting in early Jan through the Peace River Dog Fanciers Club. The class cost $90. They will also be required to then put the dog in a basic obedience training course which is held also in Punta Gorda or N Ft Myers or in Cape Coral at a cost of $165, both fees collected upon the transfer.
We seek families who have experience owning a GSD and who are willing and able to provide the dog with proper training, love and who will allow the dog to become a member of their family. We will not offer them to you if you are a renter. We will conduct a total family interview, just like we would for any of our rescue dogs which includes all family members that live in the home. The cost of these puppies is $650 each which includes all puppy shots and a health certificate issued by the owner and not by our rescue, although we will have a major input into the choice of families.
