RALPH HAD A NEW HOME AND FAMILY BUT THEY DECIDED TO GIVE HIM UP

THE FAMILY THAT GAVE HIM A TEST RUN FOUND HE WAS JUST NOT A GOOD FIT FOR THEM. THIS IS ONE SWEET DOG WHO WILL MAKE A GREAT PARTNER FOR A SPECIAL FAMILY

Ralph is a 4-6 year old neutered male sable GSD. He weighs about 70 pounds and is super sweet and gentle with everyone and other dogs. He is a laid back dog that is eager to please but not very active. He likes to walk with you and be petted and cuddle but he is not a ball of fire when it comes to energy level. He was originally found on a deserted road in the Clewiston area where he was dumped and told to stay. He never moved from the spot for 2 days. We finally got him in the truck and took him back here. He was not chipped and we could not find any owners and decided because he is so good to keep him and find him a permanent home. He is HW Negative. He has had ALL OF HIS SHOTS. We had no idea at first about his current condition but we now know he is house broken, gentle, affectionate and a great all around dog. He has lousy teeth and a minor ear infection which is being treated but otherwise he is a fine dog. He was definitely someones dog. He is super friendly and gentle, great with kids and super social. He loves other dogs and cats. His fur is soft and clean and he had some fleas and was treated for them a month ago and he is squeeky clean now. He had no abrasions on him besides some fly bite scars on his ear tips. He does like other dogs and especially likes people and attention. Like many GSD's he's a bit aloof at first and then warms up. He readily makes friends with everyone. He likes to ride in cars and knows some basic commands. He had no clue about his name, but know knows it well. He walks perfectly on a leash and is extremely attentive and engaged. This is a slightly older dog who would make a tremendous pet for the right loving home. He got his flea and tick bath and smells great. He loved his bath and getting towel dried. What a sweetheart. He was placed in a home with another 5 year female dog but because he was basically a couch potato he was returned. He will be here Jan 3, 2016. He is house broken and crate trained.
