HANDSOME MAXIMUM HAS A NEW HOME

MAXIMUS AKA MAX FOR SHORT HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY MAXIMUS IS A TRUE LOVE STORY. Max was adopted out by me on 9/12/2011 after we recovered him from a kill shelter. He was and he is a simply fabulous dog suitable for any home with any family. Max went to a great family who just recently fell on hard times and lost their home. In accordance with our contract we got Maximus back today after 4 years in his forever home. The family came and dropped him off with tears and emotion. I cried inside when I got back to the truck for them. These are great people whose love for this dog was unconditional and as a family member they did what they had to do for his benefit. Max is now a 5 year old male neutered black and tan GSD. He is house broken, trained, affectionate and he can be protective in your home of strangers. He inspects everyone and as an alpha male dog decides if they are OK in his mind. Of course once instructed he loves everyone. He is a super affectionate dog outside the home but any adopter should know that he feels his job is overseeing the family. he takes direction perfectly and is super obedient. he does like the dog park and is extremely motivated by any ball, thrown object, frisbee etc. he wants to play. he is in fantastic shape, has all shots and is HW negative. he has always been an inside dog and respects your property. he is not at all destructive and he is crate trained. Maximum is currently in our kennel and we want him in a home as quickly as possible. If you are looking for a strong handsome and reliable family member, Max is your man. Max is not good with cats and does have a high drive so some basic training by the new owner will help refine that to ball chasing. he walks perfectly on a leash.
