PUPPY AVA HAS A NEW HOME
UPDATE A SUPER FAMILY IS COMING TOMORROW FOR HER WHOOPIE Puppy AVA came to us the afternoon of 9/25. She was seen by a few people but stayed overnight at our kennel. As luck would have it one of the families took her the next day. She attended training with us on Sunday and did extremely well. She needed some social skills but as a puppy she did quite well having no training at all. She is a super sweet spayed female sable GSD. She is 9 months old and weighs about 70 pounds. She came from a quality home but was just too much dog for the owner, a female, and she decided to relinquish her to us. She was loved and did grow up with another female GSD in the same home. She is somewhat trained but not totally socialized. She likes some dogs and not so much others. At 9 months this sable female GSD should be farther along in training but she is not. She is HW negative and has all shots. She is almost housebroken and we feel that house training her at 100% is a 3 day project based on where she is now. She is social with people and with some dogs after a proper introduction. She needs obedience training and an alpha individual or family to control her. She is extremely engaged and responsive to treats and praise. Ava does well on a leash and likes belly rubs and play. She is a gorgeous dog with a personality to match. Ava is spayed and has all shots. Her coat is exquisite and soft and she is a perfect baby (but a project) for some willing family with the time to get her both under control and trained. She would be OK with kids and an active life style but training and control would be the primary job of the new owners before letting her have free range anywhere. We do recommend crating for her at first to provide a controlled situation for her when she is unattended.
