ACHILLES HAS A FABULOUS NEW FAMILY AND SOME NEW FUR Achilles came to us today from a fine young family who has fallen on some hard financial times. They dearly love their dog Achilles but feel it is best for her to be rehomed.
Achilles is a sweet 3 year old sable female GSD. She is spayed, heart worm negative and dog and cat friendly. She appears to be very interested in working and pleasing her master and she has the temperament to make that happen. This is a well stabilized dog who is part o0f a family with 1 infant, 2 cats and a 10 year old daughter. She was always loved and cared for and she is social and eager to please.
Achilles is somewhat trained but definitely not sufficient for most homes. She does jump a bit and does sit and down intermittently. She knows her name and has been to the dog park and beach numerous times. She loves to swim. She has what appear to be good hips and she is healthy, friendly and focused. She is very attune to her owners and would be protective if she knew that was required. She was shaved which is why her coat is missing. Her coat will take 4 months to restore itself so please be patient. She does not walk particularly well on a lead but she is crate trained and housebroken as well as being quite calm in the home and not destructive.
update we may have a family coming SAT 9/26 TO SEE HER.
