HANDSOME MILO HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY HE WENT TO THE OWNERS BEST FRIEND. Milo is a neutered 3.5 year old sable male GSD. He is about 95 pounds of pure muscle and he is eager to please you. Milo is coming back to us because his owners have been transferred and they are primarily spending lots of time on the road away from him and they feel he needs a more permanent home and family.
Milo has been super socialized and his drive is now focused primarily on play. His original story was the following:
Milo is a well bred Chec dog who was imported here and sold through a quality breeder in Kansas. Milo is a working dog who has a super high prey drive and a focus on whatever the task at hand is. He has been trained and is very respectful and social. He loves kong and ball fetching and he is the basic obedience commands down in English and German. He has never attended a socialization or obedience class (back last year but that has totally changed). In working with him for an hour, back last year, he showed me his skills which were stellar. He is sharp, focused and just the right about of friendly and eager to please to learn most anything quickly. He is in excellent shape but does tire in the extreme heat so working him in cooler weather is best or keep him swimming, if he is being trained outside be respectful of his heat issues. He does swim and likes to dig, but with a job he will quickly refocus and be a tremendous obedient working companion. He likes kids but has never been with babies or children younger than 10. Since his adoption he has met hundreds of kids as their job worked with kids and he is totally fine with everybody. He is able to be approached by anyone. He has a great face for protection work but he is a family pet. We do know that he had issues with other dogs who were aggressive, but that has been overcome 100% and he likes other dogs readily. He is able top be corrected and takes verbal and physical pinch collar correction well. He is responsive and eager to please and seems to know what you want before hand. He hates his picture taken.
Milo is heart worm free and has all shots. If you want to see Milo and can handle a dog of his caliper then give us a call asap.
