BAG OF BONES MARLEY AKA BOB MARLEY WENT HOME TODAY THE SAME DAY HE CAME INTO THE RESCUE I don't usually write after adoption stories but here is one that needs to be quickly told.
I received a call from an interested neighbor about a dog who was emaciated and neglected by in inconsiderate moron family who then dropped the ailing dog off with their mother and left town. The dog, pictured below was in pretty bad shape when I picked him up today. The fact he was still alive was remarkable. He was in great spirits and a happy dog albeit 20 pounds plus under weight and with ear and possibly other infections. The kind family that saw him as well for the first time and adopted him couldn't believe their eyes.
He did go to their home and met his new brother. The rest appears to be a great love story that will be fantastic for the dog, his family and his new brother. I am glad that the concerned neighbor got me involved and that the parent of the abuser was kind enough to deliver the dog to me without a hassle. Here is a picture what we got. His name is Marley but I renamed him BOB Marley where B.O.B stand for Bag of Bones. How this guy remained in great spirits and was a loving friendly GSD is beyond me. These are truly special dogs.
