SADIE HAS A NEW HOME
it looks like we have her adopted. we met a great family today who is interested in her. Sadie was first taken in my SW FL GSD Rescue back 3 years ago. She was a puppy and totally sweet and untrained. We loved her and even thought we would keep her ourselves but because she was such a great girl, we decided that she deserved a new life and 100% focus by a new owner. We adopted her out to a great lady in Indianapolis who had her driven up there to her new digs.
As time went on Sadie got a few brothers and sisters and lived with them in harmony for 3 years. Sadie however has emerged as an alpha female and now wants to rule the roost. She has had two altercations with her younger and smaller sisters and her owner just cannot keep her in her home because of this potential for a dog fight. With people and kids Sadie is tremendous. She is fully trained, housebroken and obedient to a fault but should be in a SINGLE DOG HOUSEHOLD. Because of this behavior we also DO NOT RECOMMEND CATS as she could become aggressive with them as well. When she lived here however (for a few weeks) she was great with our cats, but because she has now an adult, we believe that the owner should NOT have any cats.
Sadie is now 3.5 years old. She is super healthy, heart worm negative, chipped, spayed and she has all of her shots up to date. Sadie is all white and weighs about 70 pounds. She has no other issues besides the dominance one but that is enough for her owner (who loves her dearly) to just have to say good bye.
Sadie should be placed in an active household because of her age and her desire to work. She loves ball, walks, runs, travel and companionship. She is extremely affectionate and would be great in any environment. She has NO ISSUES WITH GOING TO THE DOG PARK OR DAY CARE her only issue is living permanently with other dogs as she is definitely dominate.
Sadie will be transported here in a week or so. If you want to meet her please call to make arrangements.
