GATOR HAS A PERMANENT HOME AND FAMILY THANKS TO LORIN AND BILL FOR ALL THEY DID FOSTERING THIS GREAT DOG. IT WAS THEIR LOVE AND COMPASSION THAT HELPED HIM THROUGH A BAD TIME AND NOW THAT HE IS BACK TO NORMAL WE ARE ALL TRULY GRATEFUL TO THEM FOR THEIR KINDNESS. TLC WORKS!

NOW BACK TO GATOR... WELL HE REALLY STEPPED IN IT AND WOUND UP WITH A FABULOUS FAMILY WHO ALREADY LOVES HIM AND WHO WILL TRAIN AND CARE FOR HIM Gator, like many dogs was purchased in good faith by an inconsiderate, selfish and callous family who, after feeding him garbage food, knowing he had sever allergies, then dumped him on the street. It is always hard for me to see these dogs who, but for a stroke of bad luck in being bought by idiots, could have been in excellent shape.
Gator is about 11 months old. He has been placed with a super kind foster family for a while to get his health back and he is now back with us. We do know his name because he was chipped. The original family rejected him because of his skin condition that they caused.... He has had literally no training and is responsive and engaged. His fur has grown back 85% and he is doing really well on his new grain free food. He is now housebroken and crate trained which is a great thing and he is getting somewhat trained. He has learned a few commands in just minutes which leads us to believe that he may have had some knowledge but that he was never formally trained. He comes when called extremely well and knows sit and crate. He is good with other dogs and has been to the dog park numerous times. HE IS NOT GOOD WITH CATS AND WE DO NOT WISH TO PLACE HIM IN A HOME WITH CATS. He is a neutered black and tan male with all shots and heartworm free.
Gator is heart worm negative and he NO LONGER has any serious skin disease. He hair loss was simply as a sever grain allergy and that will cleared up with proper meds and the right food, both of which he has received here at the foster.
Gator is sweet with people but has HIGH ENERGY. He likes people and seeks out attention. Gator weighs about 70 pounds and he will be a large dog weighing about 95 pounds when he is all done growing. He has a defined saddle which will become beautiful as he heals. He is available immediately but please be prepared to take him to training because this 'wild child' needs immediate training to settle. He is a balanced dog but demands attention now which he never received as a puppy. Don't judge this book by its cover, I will post recent pictures as these are 6 weeks old. He is now far better.
