Marney has a forever home Miss Marney came to us as a street stray. She had a case of demodex on her face and legs and her owners threw her in the street rather than treat it. We have had her now for about 4 weeks and she has regrown all of her hair and is just turning into a super social loving girl. She is over all of her issues and she is just as happy as can be. Marney is a small female GSD about 1.5 years old. She weighs about 55 pounds and she will probably be somewhat smaller for her life. She needs to gain 10 pounds, but that will happen quickly now that we her her. She is neutered and heart worm negative with all shots; and she will remain in our foster home in Cape Coral until she is adopted.
She will be at the adoption event Saturday!
She is in a foster home with a great lady and 6 dogs who was willing to care for her until she is adopted. She integrated into the pack immediately and is a great pet who loves kids, other dogs and people.
Marney's condition was a simple fix but ugly at first. The photo are New pictures as we removed the bad ones when we got her. The transition was amazing. She is now a beautiful sable female ready to worm her way into anyone's heart willing to take her into their home and family.
Marney is very calm. She is as sweet as can be and seems to warm up to people quickly. Like any GSD she is somewhat aloof at first but she will come around quickly when you call her name or pay attention to her as I did the morning we met for her evaluation. She has to be trained but that will be simple for the right family as she wants to please you. Her diet will probably be one of grain free foods but no big deal there either.
She is skinny but heart worm negative and needs to gain 20 pounds. She is a small petite girl. Look into this dogs heart and see a super companion ready to be bonded with you and your family and ready to provide all of the love and companionship possible. Temperament and not cosmetics make for a great pet.
We do recommend Marney be in a home with people willing to train her because she is eager to learn. She is 95% housebroken but until we are 100% certain we recommend crating her until you know her signs and request to go out.
