LOKI NEEDS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY
IT LOOKS LIKE LOKI WILL BE GOING HOME TODAY Loki is a 4 year old red and black, semi long hair male GSD. He is neutered, heart worm negative, somewhat trained and housebroken. He is great in a home, crate trained, non destructive nor afraid of loud noises and social. He likes other dogs, if introduced properly but would be fine in any dog park or dog beach. We do not believe he would be great with cats. He lived with a small foo foo dog and they were best friends. He has a small fatty tumor on his face that we recommend be removed. It is benign and small enough to be removed simply. He is neutered and very people friendly. He is on a special grain free food because he did have a reaction to the food he was on which gave him dry skin. That has improved and will be gone in a few weeks time with the right nutrition. He did take classes in basic obedience when he was a puppy but definitely needs a refresher course. He walks well on a leash and would be suitable for a family of any age. His long fur will need extra brushing and firminating but any one getting a long hair GSD should be aware of that. He weighs about 80 pounds and should gain 5-7 more pounds to be the right weight for his frame. His hips are very good and he came from a reputable breeder. He was an expensive dog. He alerts well and is alert and very trainable. He is totally bonded with his mom so initial bonding will take a few days time. He is a great family dog and has lived with kids, dogs and adults for his entire life. He was originally from New Jersey so he does have a slight but faint accent.
