ELLA NEEDS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY
WE WERE HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND A TRULY LOVING FAMILY FOR ELLA We evaluated Ella today 5/14/14 and I was impressed with this sweet little girl. Ella is about 65#'s and will probably not get much bigger. She is a black and tan female GSD, more toward the sable and with no real defined saddle. She looks like my girl Sadie which is a beautiful thing. She is HW POSITIVE and of course we will schedule she to receive the shots needed to have her cleared of the heart worms. As of today she will be spade tomorrow and probably be available over the next week or so. She did have puppies at one point but that was probably a few years ago. Ella appears to be 3-4 years old and very gentle and calm. She is not dog reactive at all and she is ok with cats. She likes people and seeks out attention which tells me she was originally in a home before she was dumped on the street. Ella does know a few commands but at the time of her eval, she was far too busy checking out smells and a bit of freedom to show her stuff to me. We had her examined by a vet and she does have a minor ACL issue which in time will heal. She will never be a runner but she will do fine with simple walking and time to heal. We assume that she was housebroken at one time and as in all GSD's training her will be simple. She did not pee or poo in her run. Ella will be spayed this week and chipped. If this sweet girl suits your life style please call us.
UPDATE:
Ella has won the hearts of the shelter staff. She is still in the LCDAS and hopefully will be fostered out this week. During the past 3 weeks that have allowed her to become an office dog. She does not type well enough to do any real work, but she has been assigned to public relations and she is doing quite well. They have her out most of the day and we do know she is housebroken and super friendly. This would make a great dog for a family that wants a house dog to love and spend time with!!!!
