NIGEL NEEDS A FAMILY HE CAN CALL HIS OWN

WE HAVE A STRONG POTENTIAL ADOPTER FOR HIM SO UNTIL NEXT WEEK, NIGEL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO ADOPT. Nigel came to us from a caring couple, both of whom were in the military. When they were each deployed, Nigel was a victim of circumstance. Since no on2 in their respective families wanted him, he was turned over to us.
Nigel is a super sweet dog with a 'mullet', or so my daughter calls his hair doo! Nigel is a silver and black, semi long hair male GSD. He weighs about 65 pounds and will weigh about 75 pounds when he is done growing. He is 1.5 years old.
Nigel has a pancreas issues which caused him not to be able to digest food properly. Without the proper enzymes he continued to loose weight and poop continually. When we got him we quickly realized his issue and put him on BiocaseV which cured the problem. This enzyme additive will cost about $30 a month, for life, to eliminate his condition. Anyone adopting him must realize that this is a forever remedy. It is not a prescription but a readily available product that when added to his food before meals begins the digestive process. Since he has been on it (5 weeks) he has gained about 8 pounds and he is gradually putting some meat on those scrawny bones!
Nigel loves people, dogs and cats. He has just as sweet and playful and loving as a dog can be. He is still every bit a puppy, He is fully trained and 95% housebroken. He has had a few accidents but like in most cases, that was caused by operator error (us) and when we didn't know his signs, we missed the opportunity to take him out on time. This has happened only 3 times in 7 weeks so it is by no means a condition to concern yourself about... only mentioning it so as to fully disclose the issue and his need to be trained on signals for go out.
He loves his crate and eats and sleeps there. He has no issues with noises, no separation anxiety and no negative behaviors at all. He will talk up a storm when he wants to express himself. We have taken him to a few events and stores and he is just great with every environment. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his beautiful face and personality. Nigel also had a broken foot as a very small puppy which healed in an awkward way. He has zero problems with it, and runs like the wind and swims and dives as far or further than any of our other dogs. He will not have to have it repaired as it has no effect on him in any way.
Nigel was one of those dogs that we thought we would keep. He fit our home perfectly, loved our 4 cats and fit into our dog pack without a problem. We just decided that as a young dog, he definitely needs a family, preferable with young kids, to call his own. We want to see this tremendous puppy grow up as a single focus dog and not just another one in our pack. He deserves a great family to call his own and where he can get 100% of the love an attention that we just cannot give him.
If you feel Nigel can be your best companion and friend, please call us and we can arrange a meet and greet. 941 575 0243
