HECTOR WAS THE NAME I GAVE HIM BUT DIANE RE-NAMED HIM GAUCHO. HE IS OUR NEWEST DOG NEEDING A HOME
Gaucho went home today with a great guy who will foster him for us until he is finished with his treatment. Gaucho arrived at our shelter last week. He will be available for adoption on 8/18/13. We have to keep him for his quarantine period, then his neuter and then his heart worm... but after all of that, this handsome boy will be ready for his new home. He is a handsome Male black and tan GSD weighing in at 78 pounds. He is calm and gentle, great with kids (we tested him today) but has NO training. We evaluated him for about an hour today and he is a wonderful energetic pup. He is about a year old, no more. He is HW positive but he is to be neutered and he will have all of his shots and chip by the time he goes home. He is ready to go home after 8/18. Gaucho did come from a home but the owner was forced to surrender him under less than favorable circumstances. He will be treated by our Foundation as soon as possible at AWL before the adoption. Get on the list... this is a great dog.
