HANDSOME FORREST WHO IS NOW DUKE HAS A HOME Forrest who is now Duke got a great home, new mom and dad and sister all in one day. What a great treat for him and for us to see him go to a great family!

Forrest was found wandering in Miami. I am sure he was dumped because he immediately sought the comfort of a home. He is pretty smart and picked a home where the owner loves animals. Unfortunately she had 2 pets already and was forced to relinquish Forrest to us.
Forrest is a long hair black and tan GSD. He appears to be a king shepherd but we cannot be certain. He is a totally sweet dog and appears o be cat friendly, somewhat trained and housebroken. He does not have his shots as yet but will receive them on Wednesday 7/24 at the AWL when he is neutered.
Forrest weighs about 75 pounds and was not ever mistreated fro what we can tell. He is gentle and non reactive and seems to like other dogs both big and small. He was just given a flea bath and by days end should be combed out and handsome as ever.
He was not chipped and every effort was made to find his owner, but to no avail. We will of course chip him when he gets his shots and neuter.
We have a vetted family looking at him today so watch for posts on his availability by days end. If he is still available then please call to get your interview done asap.
