BRITTA HAS A GREAT HOME WITH HER ORIGINAL MOM We ae happy to report that Britta is now staying home with her original mom. Great news for all concerned!

Britta is a six year old, black and tan, female GSD who has lived with a single Mom for many years. Mom can no longer have her in her new digs and wants her to be placed with a family or a person that will love her as much as she does! Britta is in good health with no issues at all. She is playful and she used to live with a few cats. She did go to a home with 2 cats and she seems on edge with them. These were obviously not the kitties she grew up with and her new family felt that the cats and Britta were not compatible. That does happen on occasion and based on that fact we accepted Britta back in the system for re-homing. She likes calm dogs, but we recommend she be in a one dog home possibly with cats, but we do recommend she be the only pet and the princess!. Britta definitely needs some basic obedience and responds extremely well to men and to taking direction. She just has to know you are the boss and all is well.
Britta lived with her new family for 10 days and they stated clearly that she is a great dog and was an excellent pet. Outside the issues with the cat incompatibility she will make someone a great pet.
Britta is about 50 pounds and is a total lightweight and small, as most GSD's go. She is pure GSD but petite, shall we say. She is calm and submissive, mostly trained, housebroken, crate trained, gentile and responsive and totally loving. She loves car rides and walks and is in excellent condition. She will take a few minutes to warm up as all GSD's do, but she is a tremendous companion and best friend.
Britta is in great health, chipped, HW negative, spade and with no hip issues. She has always been with other dogs and is great for any venue.
